Majorette! Et alors?

J’ai toujours aimé photographier des sujets populaires et toujours un peu décalés avec l’actualité du moment. C’est pourquoi je me suis intéressée aux majorettes, je voulais découvrir leur univers, savoir qui étaient ces adolescentes. J’ai photographié ces jeunes filles dans leur propre chambre pour observer à quelle ‘tribu’ elles pouvaient appartenir. Photographier les majorettes, c’est photographier un milieu social.
I m a cheerleader, so what ? – I have envoyed taking pictures of popular subjects at odd with current topics. That is the reason why I became interested in cheerleaders. I wanted ti find at more about their world, to get to know who these teenager were. I took photos of them in their bedrooms to get familiar with their « tribe » and the social environment they belong to. Photographing cheerleader is photograph a certain social backgrand.
